Rolling and Yoga

Wednesday,9:00 am – 10:30 am and  6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

 Eneida is a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher and student and an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) through Yoga Alliance.  In addition to her Kripalu yoga teacher certification, she has completed 150 hours of Purna yoga teacher training with Aadil Palkhivala, an internationally renowned yoga teacher and founder of Yoga Centers in Bellevue, Washington.  During the last 10 years she has attended numerous workshops and yoga conferences in an effort to enhance her own personal practice and share these experiences with others.  Eneida’s teaching style has been influenced by Kripalu, Iyengar and Ashtanga styles of yoga.  When guiding a class, her intention is to create a safe and noncompetitive atmosphere that honors each person physically, emotionally and spiritually.Eneida is co-director of Visuddha Yoga Teacher Training, a Yoga Alliance registered school.  Students graduate with a 200 hour level certification.  Most importantly, she is passionate about yoga and aims to live her life in accordance with yogic principles and philosophy in the midst of modern life. She believes that the tools and discipline we learn on the mat will serve us well in our daily life.Yoga is an ancient Indian art of stretching and breath control that can improve your flexibility and circulation through a series of poses and body positions combined with a meditative state of mind.  Experience the amazing feeling you get form this rigorous but gentle combination of exercise and meditation.  It’s helpful for alleviating back problems and improving the digestive system, circulatory, immune, skeletal and lymphatic systems.  It strengthens, lengthens, tones and aids in bringing peace and healing to all parts of the body, mind and spirit.

Basic Yoga (Level 1) for Beginners
Monday, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Felicia’s intention is to create a safe, comfortable, non-competitive atmosphere to practice and explore yoga, with proper alignment, instruction and modifications given as needed. She invites all students to explore a personal inward journey to awareness that she feels will bring health, peace and joy. Yoga helps one learn about themselves while strengthening, body, mind, and spiritual awareness. Felicia brings 20 years experiences with her influenced by Asthaga, Iyengar and Kripula traditions. She is a certified Yoga teacher and studied with our own Eneida Likes, E-RYT for 15 years and is also a registered nurse. Please feel free to join Felicia’s class and reap the many benefits that yoga can do for you in the calm, clean and zen environment of Jade Serenity Spa..

Yoga with Krista Denoff, CHC, CYT

Hatha/Vinyasa Flow for Beginners
Friday, 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Krista Denoff’s yoga career began at the age of 14 in a yoga club offered at her high school. She quickly learned  techniques for working through emotions and dealing with stress. After years of research and training in multiple styles of yoga, Krista learned self-acceptance and self-love, which is what ultimately transformed her life. Krista studied Yoga at the National Council for Certified Personal  Trainers earning her Yoga Teaching Certification.  She has trained in Hatha, Vinyasa which inspired her to create her own unique classes combining the two styles to create a class where students can stretch deeper and receive cardiovascular benefits at the same time. She is certified in Yoga Shred Inspired Classes, a specialized style of Yoga including HIIT (high intensity interval training) combined with the Yoga poses for safe body alignment.  She continues her training with Yoga Faith’s Children’s. Krista is also a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC and is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Her approach to health-coaching goes beyond the typical idea of “dieting” – instead, she helps you to take a closer look at your life, and encourages digging deeper to discover the root causes behind your health and lifestyle issues. Her passion in life is to help other’s heal from the inside out so that they can break free and live an abundant life of health and wellness.

    I’d like to attend the beginners yoga class Monday. Can I just show up or do I need to do anything first? Thank you!

    Dear Laura,

    Thank you for your inquiry about the beginners yoga class every Monday. Pre-registration isn’t required and you can just show up. If you don’t have a mat for the first class, we have one you can use. Otherwise, you can bring a mat. We hope to see you soon.
