Begin your yoga journey with Eneida…Basic/Level 1 Yoga for Beginners, Monday, 6:00 – 7:30 pmVinyasa Flow Yoga Style, Wednesday, 6:00 – 7:30 pm
 Eneida is a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher and student and an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) through Yoga Alliance.  In addition to her Kripalu yoga teacher certification, she has completed 150 hours of Purna yoga teacher training with Aadil Palkhivala, an internationally renowned yoga teacher and founder of Yoga Centers in Bellevue, Washington.  During the last 10 years she has attended numerous workshops and yoga conferences in an effort to enhance her own personal practice and share these experiences with others.  Eneida’s teaching style has been influenced by Kripalu, Iyengar and Ashtanga styles of yoga.  When guiding a class, her intention is to create a safe and noncompetitive atmosphere that honors each person physically, emotionally and spiritually.Eneida is co-director of Visuddha Yoga Teacher Training, a Yoga Alliance registered school.  Students graduate with a 200 hour level certification.  Most importantly, she is passionate about yoga and aims to live her life in accordance with yogic principles and philosophy in the midst of modern life. She believes that the tools and discipline we learn on the mat will serve us well in our daily life.Yoga is an ancient Indian art of stretching and breath control that can improve your flexibility and circulation through a series of poses and body positions combined with a meditative state of mind.  Experience the amazing feeling you get form this rigorous but gentle combination of exercise and meditation.  It’s helpful for alleviating back problems and improving the digestive system, circulatory, immune, skeletal and lymphatic systems.  It strengthens, lengthens, tones and aids in bringing peace and healing to all parts of the body, mind and spirit.

Ana Albala has been a daily practitioner of Yoga since 2007, first in solitude, then making her way into the studio.  A year later, she was teaching.  Trained in Visuddha Yoga and inspired by many, her classes are filled with spirit-based aspects of yoga and wellness via effective communication between mind, body and spirit.  She brings music that can truly transport you to a place where you will release and surrender to deep breath and to just be. Her classes help students know that a quiet mind and an open heart with deep breath can be all you need. She designs her classes to challenge students at all levels and weaves poses with music from many genres to make class fun and flowing.Ana is a graduate from Blue Sky Yoga Center with a Certificate of 235 hours training. I was first drawn to yoga in 1980.  I took a yoga stretch and dance course at a local high school.  This included the promotion of physical strength, flexibility, focus and concentration.  Yoga enhances these impulses in a positive way.

I was attracted to Kripula yoga with week-end seminars in the local yoga studios. I have a background in Iyenger yoga through a course based on the teaching of Joan White.  I continued into Astanga yoga & next Ayurveda with Jordan Health. I love the diversity that seemed to teach me high self esteem and love of my “true self”.

Since cooking was also a love of mine, I had to take a look at Modern Macrobiotics with Micho Kushi.  His course was so unique.  More health and nutrition flowed to me as I taught with University of Pennsylvania school of dental medicine. Prevention & health careers continued for 30 years, including, children’s dentistry.  I loved the kids !

Moving to DeLand from the suburban Philadelphia area, I found yoga inspired my nurturing and love of myself and others.  I completed a Yoga Teacher Training with the 200 hr. Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training Program in Oct. 2006 when I moved to DeLand.  Continuing into teaching at DeLand’s Blue Sky Yoga. One highlight was several private classes I taught for the first time showing balance and concentration to a male football player who wanted to be the team kicker.  He went on to college and reported he used these yoga skills through his college football years as well.  Prenatal yoga certification translated into nurturing activity when time is spent to gently relax, release and attune to your body and your rapidly growing baby within.  Breath work was an important foundation while I was trained with Janice Clarfield from Vancouver.

Finally, teaching adults and children in DeLand through an adult program at Blue Sky Yoga, Nourish to Flourish and the First Presbyterian Day School Children’s Yoga Workshop.I continue learning and walking the nutrition talk through my wellness education in whole foods, and eco friendly planting.  I continue the ethical and professional code of conduct I learned and actively encourage diversity by respecting all students.  I am proud to adhere to the traditional yoga principles.

    Dear Laura,

    Thank you for your inquiry about the beginners yoga class every Monday. Pre-registration isn’t required and you can just show up. If you don’t have a mat for the first class, we have one you can use. Otherwise, you can bring a mat. We hope to see you soon.
